Finally, after the rush of Christmas celebrations, dead camera batteries, and sickness galore, I am now able to sit down and recount our Christmas celebration this year. On Christmas Eve morning, the Kumars came over bright and early for a Christmas breakfast and to exchange gifts.

Janasa loved 'helping' in the kitchen. |

Waiting to open presents. |
"Wow! Cars 2 pajamas!" |
Elijah's first Christmas gift. |
"And a firetruck!" |
Janasa got a kittycat! |

Why play with the toys when the packaging is so much better? |
After all that excitement, we were worn out!
But, we still had the Christmas Eve service to attend. Ravi and Evie were invited to sing a Christmas carol in Ravi's native language, Tamil. Jeshu asked Beniah if he wanted to go on stage and sing with him.
Beniah: "What do we do now, Jeshu?" |
Jeshu: "I don't know." |
Beniah: "How about we dance?" |
Jeshu: "Hmm. Now what?" |
Jeshu: "How about we squat?" |
Beniah: "That's so funny!" |
Beniah: "Oh look a drum!" |
And so ended Ravi and Evie's song. I am desperately hoping that the church video taped this because the boys were hilarious and totally upstaged my sister and brother in law.

The boys waiting patiently for the pastor to call the kids onto the stage to get the promised a candy cane treat |
Christmas Eve ended wonderfully with a sugar hyped up little boy and a tired mama and daddy.
